Privacy Policy

Overview

GoonerLock is designed with privacy at its core. All AI detection runs locally on your device. No screen data, images, or detection results are ever transmitted to our servers or any third party.

What We Collect

• Username — chosen during setup, used for pairing and session identification
• Device ID — SHA-256 hash of MAC address, hostname, and architecture, used for licence binding
• Licence key — stored locally and validated against our activation server
• Payment information — processed entirely by Stripe; we do not store card details

What We Do Not Collect

• Screen captures, screenshots, or video frames
• Detection results, body part labels, or bounding boxes
• Session content, chat messages, or personal media
• Browsing history or app usage patterns

Local Processing

The AI detection engine runs entirely on your device using hardware acceleration where available. Screen frames are captured, processed, and discarded in memory. No frames are saved to disk or transmitted over the network.

Encrypted Communication

Session commands between dom and sub are transmitted via a direct encrypted connection. Only session control data (targets, duration, censor style, session status) traverses the connection. A signalling server is used only for initial connection setup.

Server Validation

The Sub app periodically contacts the licence activation server to validate your key. This request includes only your licence key and device ID hash. Validation results are cached locally with HMAC signing. The app continues to function offline for up to 48 hours using the cached validation.

Data Storage

Session stats, achievements, and app settings are stored locally on your device. No user data is synced to external servers. Uninstalling the app removes all local data.

• Stripe — payment processing (see Stripe's Privacy Policy)
• Signalling server — used for initial connection setup between dom and sub

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
